I've bought something like 100 books from David over a period of several years. First he helped me build a great cookbook collection (he made it affordable). Then I got interested in European travel and he helped me choose and acquire the best travel books including Michelin at deep discounts.  And now I'm interested in certain types of collectibles and he's been finding the best collector books for me. David Spriggs of NBC has been someone I've met by the way of the internet for the approximately last two years. David provides us Culinary collector's a much valuable service allowing us to find some of those many new cookbooks at a reasonable price. There have been many times I've seen books at Borders and Barnes and Nobles and then David will send his list of books for sale and there are some of the same books I desired at a price I couldn't pass up.

He also has a discerning eye for what is new and what is interesting. His book reviews are always eye openers and gives me some more insight into many of those cookbook authors. His various travels provide David of NBC along with his professional experience in the Culinary Field make him very knowledgeable to varied international cuisine.

Besides all these good attributes he is honest and generous. What more could you ask for?

While New Books Cheap is the name on the page David is the engine that make it go. I think of them first for any book purchase and feel cheated if I'm forced to go anywhere else. Service is quick, selection is easy, and no one is finer to work with.  NBC so gracious that if they make a mistake, a rare event, I feel like I must apologize for causing them trouble. Their taste is exquisite. More than once I've said, "Here's the topic. Send me the book that best matches." I've yet to be disappointed and am usually delighted with a book I'd never have found otherwise. My single complaint is that I don't have a stash of their business cards to pass along to others.
